Do you need an iPad for Lego Boost?

The BOOST app for iPad and iPhone requires iOS 10.3 or later. The following devices have not been tested – please try installing the app to see if it is compatible.
Is Lego Boost discontinued?
It’s a good idea to develop an organizational system. Lego will discontinue its Windows software for Boost in January 2020, which means you need a mobile device to program any robot you build (the app isn’t available for Macs, either).
Is Lego boost compatible with Chromebook?
Currently BOOST is not compatible with Chromebook devices but we’re working hard to add more and more! Can Lego boost talk?
Vernie from LEGO BOOST is a talking, driving and dancing robot at your service. He can sense color, motion and distance as well as defend your room with his spring-loaded shooter! Just don’t pull his finger, even if he asks you to.
How do you use Lego boost on scratch?
In order to use Lego Boost with Scratch you must install and run Scratch Link, turn on bluetooth in your computer and load Boost extension in Scrach. We can use motors, tilt angle sensors and color sensor. Distance sensor is not supported in Scratch.
